Description

Wayne Telford stands just over six feet tall and has a large barrel chest. The son of a long line of miller and lumberjacks, Wayne's large arms and hands dwarf those of most men his age and size. A face that could be handsome is constantly twisted into a snear as if he had just smelled something he didn't like. Wayne's long black hair usually hangs loose, to the dislike of Dawnmaster Marris, and chin always shows several days of stubble.

In the past, Wayne has shown devotion to Dawnmaster Marris and the resistance to the Zhents. Not one of Lathander's clergy, Wayne tends to think lowly of the softer sides of Lathander's profile, perfering to venerate the battle verses the darkness and the undead.

Despite his loyalty to the Dawnmaster, Wayne things very little of many of the other Clerics at the Temple, especially High Morninglord Thorne, who he feels is weak, and a liability to the resistance.

Motives

Wayne's short term goals revolve around strengthing the ability of Dagger Falls to defend itself.

A long term goal of Waynes is to have High Morninglord Thorne removed, and either have the Dawnmaster be made the head of the local church, or perhaps attract a more militant church, like that of Helm or Tempus.

History

Wayne was born in Dagger Falls, and was quickly orphened by the war. Raised by the church and on the street, he disliked the idea of hoping for a better tomorrow, when things needed to be done today. Always living in the present, his motto is, "A good plan now is better than a perfect plan tomorrow."
