Adventures in Dagger Falls

 

Game 3: 01/31/07

 

5/10 evening

We continue to discuss how we are going to figure out if Serethin is even there. At present, our current option is to have Amathyst's familiar sneaking foward with Eziel's chain of eyes cast on it.

 

Eziel cast's chain of eyes on the horse after we get closer. We all get closer while Autumn slaps it. Eventually the horse wanders down to the coral.

 

An hour passes.

 

Another hour passes.

 

we are about a half mile away, while we wait...

 

the last two hours pass, without any success.

 

We discuss until around midnight, as Eziel and Amathyst go to sleep. Portt, Relyan, Autumn, and I are on watch.

 

Ogre looks like it wearing a second skin type thing... Splooshes when hit.

Autumn goes to behead it... and stuff... (On the thing's skull is a burned in laughing skull in a starburst - Only Autumn sees it)

 

Autumn makes a stretcher - And gets us all the group further away...

 

As autumn lights it on fire, Eziel wakes up.

Morning Passes ...

 

Amythiests uses the Wand of Portt, but fails to use it.

 

The day passes ...

 

Watches are - Amythist/Autumn

Dawn Comes again -

 

Animals came close during the night, but nothing...

 

Portt wakes and uses hte wand... Heals me completly!

 

I pray

 

We decide to climb the bluff, get there about noon... Using Serethin's Rope...


 

Looking down, we see a ledge (30' across)... We see no one outside...

 

We climb down, and inside the cave is a wooden palacade that is open.

We Enter the cave... find it abanadoned. We find a charnal house in which the door that was blocking it had an evil aura that looked like the symbol of cyric. In the center is a symbol/glyph with two large feet-prints that leave.

 

We go down the stairs, find a passage that heads out... We find some sleeping area, one was used recently by someone who cared for their gear.

 

We find a barracks with a mess hall.

 

Further down is a room that has well appointed.... at the end of one of the halls, and written at one of the walls it says,

"With Theives I Consort,

With the Vilest, in short

I'm quite at ease in depravity;

Yet all divines use me,

And Savants can't lose me,

For I am the center of gravity."

 

Wilhilm and Savrus... Were zhents, followers of Cyric...

 

Serethin is in a room, we get him... then we explore the room a the end of the hallway (with poem)

 

 

 

We all rejoin, after going itno the water at the end of the hall to chase down the dragon.

 

We hear a splash...

 

We find the room that has a skeleton sweeping back and forth.

 

As we search our stuff... Rel keeps watch and is attacked by the dragon!

We only take our gear... we head back, we re-armor... Serach the bodies, find Serethin's spear...
